Project overview
SRC Group asked us to carry out tree felling and removal at a site in Colchester, Essex, as part of a planning application for a new quarry. The work needed to be completed safely and efficiently to help move the development forward. Our commercial tree services team was brought in to handle the full removal process from start to finish.
The challenge
Removing trees on a site earmarked for a new quarry comes with a number of practical challenges. The trees needed to be felled and fully cleared without causing damage to surrounding land or disrupting the wider site. Working within the requirements of a planning application also meant the work had to be carried out to a specific standard and within agreed timescales.
Our approach

The results
